PETITION: Fire Judge Harry Van Harten
We the undersigned call on the Government of Alberta to dismiss Provincial Court justice Harry Van Harten, who recently ruled that a violent offender who slashed a random man in the throat on his morning commute in Calgary should only serve two years in provincial jail due to "the history of colonialism." Such rhetoric does not belong in the courtrooms of Alberta.
