How to calculate your raise percentage
Congratulations! You got your raise letter from the Provost's office. But if you work on a contract that is shorter than year-round or if you work less than full time, it can be hard to figure out what that number actually means - and what percentage raise you really got. Use the form below to help you figure it out!
Annualized Salary
The salary amount given in your letter from the Provost
Employment percentage
Find this in the offer letter or appointment paperwork you signed in August. Include all parts of your appointment (teaching, outreach, etc.). Enter as a decimal, with 1.0 being 100% employed and 0.50 being 50% employed.
Old monthly salary
The amount of your September paycheck BEFORE taxes or other deductions (parking, health care, etc.).
