  • Please note: If you are unable to use/submit this form via your phone, you can either try it from a PC, or copy/paste the form into an email and email the completed form to FAPSRescueNetwork@gmail.com. Most people don't have problems using it, but occasionally we hear from a smartphone user that they can't complete or submit the form. Please don't let the technology deter you from volunteering. Thanks

Our transports are on most Saturdays and in New England typically every other Sunday (due to a current driver shortage in CT & MA). Sometimes we switch Saturday transports to Sunday due to bad weather on Saturdays. We currently have three transport coordinators and we all communicate with our drivers via an email group which you will be required to join.

  • Our transport notifications come out via email through an online group which you must join. If you can drive on a particular transport, you click the link in that email to get to an online run sheet where the passengers are listed. You then pick your passengers based on your vehicle/crate capacity and fill your name in for each passenger for the leg you can cover. Detailed instructions will be provided after we receive your application.

  • You must be able to check email regularly as that is how we communicate our transport arrangements. Please make sure you type your email address correctly so we are able to contact you.

  • If you are using a pickup truck, all passengers must ride inside the climate-controlled portion of the vehicle.

New drivers must crate all passengers. You cannot tether any animals.

  • All passengers must ride crated unless there are specific instructions to the contrary.

If you don't currently have any crates, you can find them cheap/free on CraigsList, www.freecycle.org or local thrift shops/garage sales. All crates must be wire/metal or plastic. Soft-sided crates are not allowed on our transports.

If a shelter is sending cats or kittens to rescue, they will send them in a crate that goes with the cat all the way to rescue. Drivers just transfer the crate from vehicle to vehicle.

All passengers must ride in the climate-controlled portion of your vehicle. That means if you have a pickup truck, nobody rides in the bed.
