    Please consider joining the Jewish Community Center (JCC) as our lease agreement states that 60% of our members also be members of the JCC.

  • Yartzeits

    The Jewish Cultural Society reads yartzeits at our monthly Shabbat observances. Please note the loved ones you would like remembered with the date of their Yortzeit. Recent losses are read each year at our Yom Kippur Nizkor observance.

    If you know of others who might be interested in any of our programming including B'nei Mitzvah Program, Schmoozes, and/or High Holiday celebrations and Jewish Learning for Everyone, please provide their information below so that we may pass along JCS information.

    Members will receive a $100 refund for each referral that joins the JCS. Referrals must not be previous JCS members. Refunds will be issued upon payment in full by new member.

  • Volunteer for the JCS

    The JCS community's strength is with its members. To ensure the continued quality of our programs, we ask that each family sign up to volunteer for at least two activities or holiday events.

  • Membership Dues, Facilities Endowment Fund, and Donations

  • Membership Dues

    Regardless of ability to pay, we consider any household that submits this form to be a Member.  For those able, we ask Members to please contribute community dues based on a sliding scale, starting at $300 and capped at $1800, with a suggested amount of 1.1% of household income.  Note, these donations are tax deductible (with the Exception of School Tuition, handled separately, which is not).

  • Facilities Endowment Fund

    After the first year of membership, we ask each household to pledge a total of 1% of one year’s household income to this fund, over the course of four years. This fund allows the Jewish Cultural Society to save for major capital outlays involving the need for space and facilities. Please contact the JCS if you have any questions, or are uncertain about the status of your payments to this fund; otherwise, enter one fourth of your pledge during years two, three, four, and five of your membership at JCS.

  • Additional Donation

    Your donations help the JCS thrive. Adding a donation to your membership registration is encouraged, but not required.

  • Life & Legacy

    JCS participates in the Ann Arbor Jewish Community's Life & Legacy initiative. Some JCS members have made after-lifetime endowment commitments to JCS through this program.

    • When you submit the form, you will be redirected to PayPal, where you can use your PayPal account or any major credit card to complete the payment. If you do not complete this step, your online payment will not be processed.
    • We offer the options to pay in 12 monthly installments or in a single payment. Please be advised that monthly installments are rounded up to nearest $1.
    • Please consider adding an additional donation equal to 1.5% of your payment to help us offset our online payment processing costs.
