• I agree to volunteer my time and expirence to JBSA Military Minis and its associates.   I understand that this is purely a volunteer position and I will not receive any payment from JBSA Military Minis for my services rendered.  The services provided to our military members and families are services built by Katy Whitt of Whitt Photography (Founder JBSA Military Minis). If there are any questions please make sure to contact Katy Whitt.  To avoid any miscommunications,  jbsamilitaryminis@att.net will be CC'd in any email communications with clients.  Once the session for JBSA Military Minis is complete, personal email communications with the client may take place.  
  
  
• Volunteers
  Volunteers will respresnt JBSA Military Minis in a professional manner, we value our volunteers.  Without all of you we would not be able to provide these amazing services to our Service Members and their Dependents!  
  
  

• Rules of Conduct
  Uniform
  Each volunteer is to wear a presentable and professional uniform as stated in this contract. If you show up for a job and are not wearing said uniform you will be asked to return home and change. Our attire is business casual, all clothing must be clean and free of rips, with no graphics, and not low cut (or JBSA Military Minis Shirt) once in stock. slacks, Capri's or jeans are okay, no short shorts, or low-cut pants allowed. Wear comfortable footwear, sneakers are only allowed if they are clean. Make sure they are comfortable; you will be on your feet all day.  Please have good hygiene, and try to be conservative with perfumed cosmetics.  
  
   

• Copyright "your rights to the photos"
  All rights to photos taken at any event are shared property of JBSA Military Minis. We have a contract and model release with the client; releasing their images to JBSA Military Minis.  The Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 provides that the author of a photograph is the person who creates it. The author will be the first holder of the copyright in the photograph unless this was created in the course of employment (providing volunteer services) in which case the JBSA Military Minis will own the copyright.  So you as the photographer will be the author, but JBSA Military Minis is the copyright holder.  Photos are to be used for portfolio and resume use only and if they appear anywhere else online other than the JBSA Military Minis facebook or website, they will hold the JBSA Military Minis Logo along with your personal photography logo.   You will be given a template to add your personal logo information to.  If there are any questions on this paragraph please let Katy Whitt know.  Credit WILL be given to your photography business. 
  
  
  
• Conduct
  Be respectful of to all clients as you are representing JBSA Military Minis when you are on shoot location and when working on all portraits. Assistants are expected to assist the photographer first, and shoot second. If it is found that misconduct has occured it will be addressed and will be determined if proper actions will be taken.  Do not argue or undermine anyone associated with JBSA Military Minis at anytime.  If you have your own personal photography business, after the session that you are completing for JBSA Military Minis has concluded (after potraits are provided to the client that the package entails) you may hand out your personal business cards, please make sure while you are conducting the session you conduct yourself under JBSA Military Minis.      
  
  

• Delivering of Photos
  Images will be completed and ready for presentation within 10 to 15 days after the shoot.  If unable to deliver a completed product to the dropbox within 10- 15 days, upload them as raw images and another photographer will edit the product within 48 hours so an editor can be assigned.  Proper credit will still be given to the photographer that takes the portraits!  All portraits will be uploaded via dropbox the link will be provided.  2 set of portraits will be uploaded, 1 unwatermarked and 1 with the approved JBSA Military Minis Logo, which includes wording of your personal photography business if you have one.
  By agreeing to take on a session, you agree that if there are any FREE items prints, digitals you will provide them to the client free of charge. 
  At the conclusion of viewing two copies of all package images will be given to JBSA Military Minis via dropbox, they will then be uploaded to our facebook page and website for public viewing.  Once the work is forwarded for completion by by another editor, the original photographer(author) will release the rights to sell any portraits from that session. 
   
  
  
• Notice
  As most of our shoots are last minute due to the nature of our subjects (Welcome Homes, ect).  Once you have accepted the job you must complete the job.  If you are unable to complete the job you must email Katy and then follow up with a phone call if there has been no response so that a replacement photographer can be found.  No show, no calls will not be accepted.  If your absence is not excusable, or after your second offence your services will no longer be needed.  
  
  
  

• Slander/Social Media 
  Slander online with social media or speaking ill of JBSA Military Mini's and or it's associates will not be tolerated. 
  
  
  
  
• Duplicate/Mirrored Services/No Compete
  JBSA Military Minis has worked very hard to get where we are, we started in 2008 here in San Antonio.  There are many photographers that offer sessions for Military Members and their families on occasion but we are the only service in San Antonio that offers our complete variety of FREE services.   By signing this contract you agree not to clone the JBSA Military Minis program, Or build on our model. Any military discount program individual photographers offer will  be completely different from JBSA Military Minis.  You agree to not branch off and build your own nonprofit military targeted program.  
  
  
  
• Profit/Donations
  JBSA Military Minis works off of donations to pay for shirts, advertising materials, websites, beverages and snacks for large session events, business cards ect.  All in and out transactions can be seen or requested by detail and line items at any time.  Photographers agree to provide what is given in the basic package provided by JBSA Military Minis.  If client wants more prints, more digital images that is fine.  It is not mandatory but it would be VERY appreciated if anyprofits are made off of the session, that a portion be donated back to JBSA Military Minis to the established paypal account.  This is however optional but highly suggested.  We are not here to charge the military members an arm and leg for portraits.  They will be given a set amount of free digitals.  If they want additional portraits that is their choice and it will not be forced onto them at anytime. 
  
   
• Advertising
  Advertising space is available on our website for $35.00 a year, this will get your Name, photography logo, website ect listed on our page as a sponsor and available photographer! 
  
  
• Volunteer Positions
  JBSA Military Minis is built on a network of volunteers.  I understand that being a JBSA Military Minis Helpers/Photographers are voluntary positions and no pay is involved.  No reimbursement for fuel or travel expenses. Each photographer is responisble for their own equipment, vehicle and having it insured.  JBSA Military Minis is not responsible for any equipment failure and will not reimburse any damage that is done to photography equipment.  I agree not to hold JBSA Military Minis, Whitt Photography and/or Katy Whitt for any damages done to any of my property or persons, I understand that it is my responsibility.
