I promise to keep confidential the things we share in order to provide an atmosphere of openness. There can be no love without trust. When we trust others, we can open up to love, give and receive. Confidentiality opens the door to the deeper relationships of James 5:16 to “confess your faults to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed.”
Trust is hard to build, but it is even harder to rebuild. Trust is a precious commodity to be protected at all cost. Once trust is gone from a group, there is little chance of moving on in the quest for Christlikeness. Therefore, I commit not to share (without permission) anything I learn in this group regarding another individual with anyone outside this group.
