PLEASE NOTE: While this is spoken of in the Terms and Conditions I feel it is important to illuminate here. The itinerary as presented is subject to change. Our visits to sites mentioned, and other sites not mentioned are subject to conditions within Peru. Closures, weather, strikes and other unforeseen events can shift our itinerary.
We work with native elders and ceremonialists who join us from mountaintop and other remote locations. They are not always on time. This is Peru! You will love it!
Not included: Airfares other than those specifically mentioned in our brochure or itinerary. Passport and visa fees, airport departure taxes, meals not mentioned in our itinerary. All beverages consumed during meals and items of a personal nature such as laundry, room service, and communications charges will be your responsibility. If you plan to purchase gifts and souvenirs, you will want to bring extra funds for this purpose. If you arrive or depart at times other than our group, there will be additional transfer fees for being met at, or taken to, the airport, brought to or from the hotel, and for any extra accommodations prior to or beyond the duration of the tour will be paid by the traveler. Trip cancellation and medical insurance is not included but is highly recommended.
Tipping: Tips are greatly appreciated by waiters, porters and others who help us along the way in Peru. A small consideration can be given as you feel moved to do so—in Peru 10% would be very generous. Gratuities for drivers and guides are included. Gratuities for ceremonialists, presenters and special guests are included but if you have received special benefit from these services, it is always nice to give a bit more. People in Peru are helped a great deal by the dollars we can provide.
Payment: Personal checks, money orders, bank transfers, and cashier checks are welcomed. Please make checks payable to Integrative Archaeology Foundation and mail to POB 670, Sedona, Az. 86339. Credit Card payment will accrue an additional fee of 4% for processing, added to the base amount.
Cost Increases: Tour costs are printed well in advance of our actual travel dates. Although extremely unlikely, in exceptional circumstances, the cost of your international trip may be subject to increases which we cannot absorb, due to reasons such as currency fluctuations, fuel costs, tariffs, dues, taxes and fees overseas, the costs of services overseas, additions/adjustments to the tour program, or developments beyond our control. We regret this situation and we do everything possible to avoid surcharges, but sometimes it is unavoidable. We reserve the right to adjust prices before the tour as these changes are made known to us. An increase in tour prices shall not be grounds for refund of all or any part of payments made towards a tour, and completing your deposit for the journey constitutes your acceptance of this provision.
Roommate Pairing: We will make every effort to pair participants with roommates if they so desire. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to find a roommate for each person that desires to have one. In the event we cannot locate a roommate, it will be necessary for the traveler to pay the additional fee for a private room. Since we do accept sign-ups to within a couple weeks of our departure date, we will be able to let you know if there will be an additional fee prior to departure. Should an additional fee be required, we will expect full payment for a single room by June 15, 2018 or at the time of booking thereafter. Should a viable roommate sign up after this date, your additional fee for a private room will be refunded.
Cancelled Trips: In circumstances where trip cancellations resulting from the inability for trip to depart as scheduled, such as cancellations due to acts of war and/or terrorism, war, God, or nature takes place, Integrative Archaeology Foundation is not liable for restitution. Integrative Archaeology Foundation is not responsible for any additional expenses incurred by travelers in preparing for the trip, such as non-refundable advance purchase airline tickets, visa and passport fees, equipment, clothing or medical costs.
Cancellation and Refunds: All cancellations must be electronically transmitted (email) and dated prior to midnight on the dates outlined herein. Please realize Deposit and payment money is sent on to secure hotels, transport, tickets and other services for your journey and those funds are non-refundable to us. Refunds are calculated on payment having been made in full and will be granted based on the following schedule:
- A non-refundable deposit of $1,000.00 is due with your registration form.
- Cancellations after March 1, 2018 pay a 100% cancellation fee.
- Absolutely no refunds will be made for any portion of the journey unattended. Should you decide to leave the journey at any time, there will be no refunds for unused portions of the journey and you will be asked to sign a declaration stating that it is your decision to leave the tour.

By submiting the form below, you affirm that you have read and completely understand the information and conditions stated herein and agree to all terms.
A separate registration form must be signed by each traveler.
If you have any questions, please call us. Any disputes will be settled via mediation or arbitration and the AZ American Arbitration.
Refund and trip protection is not included and we strongly suggest you acquire this insurance. Should a traveler’s cancellation change the room configuration, thereby incurring a single supplement charge to a roommate, the amount of the additional charge will be deducted from the traveler’s refund. This is in addition to any other cancellation fees that may apply.
